Especially for the discriminating DXer with lots of money to spend, the BLANDX Awards Committee has added the following awards to our already extensive collection. For a 82p booklet listing all 837 awards plus the 509 entry SASWA Country List, just send me a blank signed check. Glen "THE" DXER: For verification of 50 stations using "The" in their name, slogan, or ID (i.e. "HCJB, The Voice of the Andes", or "You are listening to The Voice of Greece").

DHEVEHI-GUARANI DXER: For verification of 25 nations that are officially bilingual in both Dhevehi and Guarani.

PEDRO DXER: For verification of 30 stations with a verification signer named Pedro.

PEDRO DXPERT: For verification of at least 60 stations with a verification signer named Pedro. At least 10 stations must be from Asia.

EUGENIA STEPANOVA DXER: For verification of at least 10 Radio Moscow transmitter sites that were inactive at time of logging. Sites must be listed on the QSL cards.

EVANGELISTIC HEAVEN DXER: For verification of at least 15 religious broadcasters that bit the dust (i.e. ETLF, R Cordac)

LLAMA-MAN DXER: For verification of at least ten Bolivian shortwave stations carrying this popular superhero radio drama.

PERUVIAN MINISTRY OF EDUCATION DXER: For verification of any twenty-five stations that carry YL five digit series of Spanish numbers, as sponsored by the Peruvian Ministry of Education.

Well, that's it for another month. Look out next month for a new award for verifying small Peruvian stations that do not have "Hua" or "Ch" in their names.
